Crysis & Crysis Warhead ... p?t=728344

Software & Drivers
Below are a list of useful official and unofficial locations for drivers and software required to run the Crysis games. If you're an NVIDIA user and on a laptop, please click on LaptopVideo2Go, where you'll find the latest fully modded NVIDIA drivers to run on any laptop.

* Microsoft DirectX End-User Runtimes
* NVIDIA Geforce / LaptopVideo2Go
* ATI Catalyst
* Intel Chipset Device Software
* Creative Sound Blaster
* Realtek HD Audio

Steam Troubleshooting
* If you are receiving a "This game is currently unavailable" error message when launching Crysis/Crysis:Warhead/Crysis Wars then try the solutions listed in this FAQ.
* If Crysis/Crysis:Warhead/Crysis Wars fails to launch after receiving the "Preparing To Launch Game . . ." Steam message, then try the solutions listed in this FAQ.
* Verify Game Cache if you experience other problems that could be related to a corrupt download.

Mouse Troubleshooting
If you are having an issue with your mouse in-game, press ALT+TAB which will exit fullscreen mode. The Mouse Pointer will now work correctly. Press ALT+TAB to enter fullscreen mode again and enjoy the game!

Removing Intro Videos
If you're sick and tired of the EA Logo, NVIDIA logo, and CryTek logo playing on every launch of the Crysis games, there's a solution! First, locate your Crysis or Crysis Warhead folder in Steamapps. will be found here C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\crysis\Game\Localized \Video

Now, create a new folder such as NoMovies and move only the videos that begin with "Trailer_" and DO NOT move the other videos or the Main Menu will have no background video. Also, DO NOT simply DELETE them or Steam will reacquire them the next time it is launched.'re all done. Enjoy the game!

Advanced Tweaking
Below are a list of useful Launch Commands for Crysis and Crysis Warhead. I've only included the most useful below. If you'd like a full list of commands and what they do, please refer to the TweakGuides article below.

* con_restricted 0 - Allows you to tweak Crysis in-game
* r_TexturesStreaming 0 - Turns off Texture Streaming and loads all textures for the level. This removes the texture pop-in effect and makes them more detailed at a distance.
* cl_fov 75 - If you want a wider Field of View instead of the default 60, try a FOV of 75, or even 90 if you're on Widescreen.
* r_UsePOM 0 - Disables Parallax Occlusion Mapping (a technique used to make some things such as the floor more 3D. The difference isn't mind-blowing and takes a big hit in FPS. When enabled, Anisotropic Filtering cannot be used.
* r_TexMaxAnisotropy 16 - Enables 16X Anisotropic Filtering for sharp texture detail at a distance.

The Launch Command should look like this...

+con_restricted 0 +r_TexturesStreaming 0 +cl_fov 75 +r_UsePOM 0 +r_TexMaxAnisotropy

I had a little run on Crysis again after i installed my new memorys and got them to work at right speed also Oc,ed my E5200 cpu to 3.2ghz and to see this cheap cpu working so good i also raised all settings to test out again and it worked better than before faster and better memorys do make a difference!

And once again Crysis are the most advanced game and good looking game out there STILL, and i just love this game, played it several times and can still go for another run wich i am :yes: :yes: :yes: :yes: :yes: :yes:
