Well, just spent ages patching it, and now when I try and run it, it keeps crashing

Will look at it later, maybe tomorow

Been a shitty day at work, wasn't in the mood after it went wrong. Will be on tomorrow, to see if you have any ideas. Will be on bf2, but can write some ideas down for this :)

Hope you had fun

Found this try it

http://community.frontlines.com/viewtop ... 58&t=10887

Dear Crozz/CATIA,

Download a file through the following link which I'm giving.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2009/1/10/2261193/ffow_130.RAR

I've uploaded the file there. Kindly download the file and copy it to the 'Binaries' folder where the game is installed , e.g. C:\Program Files\THQ\Frontlines-Fuel of War\Binaries.
Make a Backup of the original FFOW.exe file before overwriting this file.

So after installing the 1.3.0 patch , overwrite the original FFOW.exe file found inside the 'Binaries' folder with the attached file from the link , and then try launching the game.

If this doesn't work then kindly let me know. I will give you another file.

Regards,
Daniel.

Excellent mate!!! :o :o :o

I had a go at it yesterday (until my PSU died!! :x :x :x ) but it's too soon to give it a verdict yet.....

TBH, I didn't quite like it at first, but considering how well it went I'll give it some more time before I pass my final judgement 8) 8) 8)

Yes but the maps we played arent the best though, the solar farm i do not like there is alot more better maps suited for more close combat with or without tanks for the few that are there :obey: :obey: :obey:

Yep, that's another reason to why I'll give it a few more tries!

I liked the gun I was using, and I liked the gameplay...

I didn't like the environment (too much stuff everywhere, and the flying debris made it more difficult to see small movements), and I didn't like the fact that it was hard to tell who's friendly and who's not... Should've been a bigger difference between the uniforms...

Maybe a little more practice will make it easier too see the difference though....

It only gets harder when you cant see so easy who are who wich also mean you need to be more carefull before shooting.
As soon as we all palyed abit we can see what maps we like or not and then i will remove alot of maps.
