Well, the map I played was over too quickly.

Anyway, how about Thursday night, at 8ish? Will stay on till my normal log off, at 10:30ish, and will work on the weapons in there.

How about it?

Just had a quick go, and I have a question:

The time limit is set to 5 mins, which is why it seems so quick. Any chance to increase this somehow, as that would be a big plus for me.

Should not be 5 minutes??
round time seconds 1200

And one more thing why i want many aliens to play is to say what map we want and also time vehicles, and i think i have mention that before, how can i set server up for the best when only one map are played??? or less than an hour trying?? not an easy thing, and i also mentioned before that a good rcon program are out there so its easy to stop one map and go to next , just to see what we like as we did on AIX, so why not the same here?

Yep, and I agree. I think I'll be on Thursday night at 8ish, and will have a go at it again.

Friday I'm on for Drunken Friday as well :D

the maps i think we can have as vanilla is these here:

Solarfarm
Oilfield
Hindsight
these we can use as vanilla maps as i have played them and i think they are the best "bigmaps"

or we can wait and see i dont know if there is more big maps??

just a thought :lolly:

Was going to be on tonight, but we've had a meeting at work, and I'm off to the pub to drink.

No job losses, but I'm moving departments, so not happy.

I'll be applying for jobs this weekend, trying for a computer type.

Will be on Friday night though :P

Had my second go at this game with Kro, Warrior, Björne and Chrille this Tuesday
(btw, where were you Soli???   )...

And tried it yesterday in single player...

So I think I can now give it my final verdict....

I DON'T LIKE IT!!!!

Why? Well, it's not the debris flying all over the place that does it....
Nor is it the fact that the guns are totally weird, with the pistol being far more powerful than the submachinegun...
It's not even the fact that you get stuck anywhere and everywhere due to the messy maps....
Although all of the above sure don't make the game any better....

IT'S BECAUSE I CAN'T PLAY THE DAMN THING PROPERLY!!!! :x :x :x :x

For some strange reason, every ten seconds or so the game freezes on me for about half a second....
If single player is a pain in the arse this way, imagine that in multiplayer...
with ppl all around and all over you in a split second...

I don't know whether it's because my installation didn't work properly, or if my system specs aren't enough (although neither my CPU or GPU were ever close to 100% load...)

I'll try and reinstall the darn thing soon, and see if does any difference... If I manage to get a proper install that is...

BTW, if anyone using WinXP did get perfect install, is there any chance you could send me the complete installation folder? Yeah, I know it's big, and would probably take for ever to send it over, but I had to ask  8)

I was working, and as you have problems with it it may have to do with your installation as you had install problems with it

Well i have to agree to falc there.. But i find it OK on SP and I have MP was just alot of lag. And I have upgraded my memory.. It's just not to optimized this game. And what's with the gravity ?!? Bunnyhoppers... More like jetpacks on all players. And the silly Arc on the sloooooow moving Tank shell (well i't not a shell, just a firespell cast very concentrated). Not my bag.. I just stop now. Need 12GB for other things... *Rant Over*

To bad you did not like the mp thing, and the lag part i have also got somedays, cant understand why dont have it all time but if i may guess it might be due to certain maps???
Need more testing, but havent played much lately due to illness and busy with other stuff :| :| :| :|
