Looks good Wookie, though I have no idea on the specs

One thing I'd like to ask: As it will be Windows 7, will these type of games work, as mum lends me these games now and then:

Amazing Adventures - The Lost Tomb:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Amazing-Advent ... 353&sr=1-1

Anyhoo, I trust you on this computer, as mine is very old. Original DDR ram, one crappy fan so the side panel is off, and the entire case is sad black, no colour or wow factors

yeah my mrs plays those type of games all the time with no problems, best thing about windows 7 though is if it wont run you can just right click on the desktop icon and goto properties/compatibility and put it to run as xp, vista or win 7

Wookie, just after a few answers if I may 8)

Am I right in thinking these are the parts etc I'm going for:

Case
Motherboard
CPU + fan-type thing
RAM
Hard drive

I have the Powersupply, soundcard and a dvd drive.

For the graphics, would it be better to get a new one? I can possibly part exchange it with you for your computer builds, if needed.

Either way, do you roughly know how much the main list will cost, minus the card?

Next question: My keyboard is a basic one, originally a HP grey thing. Which keyboard do you suggest, and a price?

Thanks

your graphics will be fine mate and that motherboard gives you the ooportunity to put another one of your cards in at a later date.

ive priced up a case, motherboard, quad core cpu, 8gb of ddr3 ram and a 1tb hard drive for you and a cpu cooler. as for keyboard you might want to go for something like

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/cyborg-v5-usb-gaming-keyboard-black-with-wrist-rest-and-red-led-backlit or

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/razer-arctosa-black-edition-programmable-gaming-keyboard-with-hyperesponse

ive got the razor one its ok but im not quite happy with it but for the price it aint bad

We have a major audit in a week, so everyone is doing overtime to get it sorted, including me. Got a chance to do about 8 hours on Saturday and time and a half, so will grab it. Plus, its Anna's birthday on next Monday, so think I'd best do something this weekend

I'll pencil it in for next Saturday, just need directions etc. Just PM your post code and number etc, as I have a good old satnav :P
