M95 and Mythbusters!

Postby [Aliens]Falconer » Thu Oct 19, 2006 6:55 pm

Checked out mythbusters today, and they actually proved that of a variety of handheld weapons, the good old blackpowder rifle, and a regular revolver, were more deadly that for example the M1 Garand, the .223 Armalite M4 or even the .50 caliber M95 sniper rifle!!!

At least if your victim is under water!!!!!

While all old guns were pretty efficient when shooting at a submerged target, all high velocity guns were useless. Not a single bullet lasted for more than 1 metre under water...
They disintegrated into tiny pieces upon surface impact!!!
Pretty amazing when you think about the .50 caliber armour piercing bullets shot by the M95!!!

"Son, how would you like to play for Man United?"
"No thanks sir. I've had a better offer."
"What could be better than Man United?"
"Man City!"

Agreed, I think the m95 should take a chopper down in less than 3 shots and a foot soldier in 1.. but rock paper etc..

One thing thats off topic I must say is I wish in IO mode on BF2 they only gave Assult and spec ops grenades.. Its getting really stupid now..

who gets nades? My thinking is just reduce the amount of kits with grenades in on the IO setting to reduce this lazy way of fighting..
