english and swedish time frames

was watchig most haunted house on the telly

and the woman says year 1800 and the swedish translator wrote 1900 and this is not the only time iv seen this and i just wonder why? is sweeds 100 yers further in the future then english?

Nope, but for some reason the brittish and americans called the 1900's the 20th Century, and now when we're actually there they skipped forward and now they call it the 21st century.. :D

I don't really know why they count that way, but we all know these people are a bit retarded - measuring in inches, yards etc.. And also lbs, stone and so on..

What's wrong with the metric system? :D
