ZX Spectrum Games

Well, I'm sure that most of you had a ZX spectrum when you were a kid, or a Speccy as it was normally called.

Here is a link to loads of games:

http://www.worldofspectrum.org/games/index.html

For instance, click B, then scroll down to a game called Bruce Lee. Click on it, then in the list, look for an icon for the 48 or 128. In the Bruce Lee, its the 2nd one down. Click on it to start the game.

Just played at work, and got 82228, but I've done better :P

Loads of games there, plus many of Jet Set Willy, some that are newer than the actual computer

How about Horace Goes Skiing? before you even got to ski, you had to cross that road to get the skis, and cross back again.

Spent many nights swearing, trying to dodge traffic, and only went down the mountain once or twice

I've still got a ZX81 with a 16k memory expansion in its original box. The fun i had writing programmes that told you the time or got your name to zoom round the screen 8)

Then we got posh and got a +2 :o :o

Oh yeah forgot about Dizzy, Fantastic. What's a poke or am i being stupid here?

You could load Robocop up on 48 k or 128 k. the 128 k took about 5 mins longer and the only differnce he would say his prime directives instead of just listing them on the screen. i remember thinking that was the dogs. :)
